Normal for PGI, take what the majority of the population is wanting to do and then charge them for it. Unfortunately they are getting really good and nickel and diming people to death instead of focusing on the gameplay and the community is getting tired of it. You don't need to charge people to create a guild, you put in a needed number of people (seperate accounts) online at one time to create it and a large ingame cost. If it comes down to combat and it ends up only one person is actually in the guild you kill it and if necessary (repeat offender) you ban their IPs. I think I only know of one MMO that tried to do it with real cash and it was a failure on their part.

Monetized could refer to cbills and not just mc only. Would 100 Million Cbills be a fair setup cost for a guild?, probably, because it is a pretty outrageous amount for any beginner to pay just to have their own 1-man merc corp. I could see them doing this to prevent the flood of guilds being created, and hope they don't charge real money to do it.

It should be just C-bills but usually when a game uses that term they are talking plain ole cash. If it is C-bills I could see it actually being more like 200m or more considering how hard some of these peeps play, it also depends on whether or not it has to be footed by one person or if they will allow the other guildies to contribute toward the pot.
