Can you advise as to exactly what is needed to play? Meaning, what program is used to access the server, what downloads are needed? What hardware is needed? Etc?

I ask because I thought I knew but when I tried to connect I failed. The easier it is for people to know what is needed, the more people there may be who attend.

Thanks in advance.

Also very interested in this. In my current position I can require several junior, cyber-warriors to participate. If I can mech-slap them to the extent that they've so richly earned... Well, I've got wood.

Respectfully, as always,

The hardware requirements are not really high for today's standards

Mau in da house! Playing anything these days?

Even if I get this game working, my remaining Sidewinder joystick only has 2 working weapon group buttons (if those still even work).

Saw some chatter about the solaris league and got all nostalgic. I've been doing malware analysis with a bunch of nerds and my team's been hammering me about getting back online. Funny that Mechwarrior is consistently seen as having been "Cool as hell." They think they're going to kick my ass indefinitely. They're ... mistaken.

I need hardware, too. But, I'll be back. Glad to find SOMEONE I recognize, Gwyd. Timberliners are hard to come by these days, but you know I was a fan of TB as well.
