So what medallions should we be going with here? Is anyone choosing them now or waiting till more about CW is available?

I'm going to go for Steiner, Davion, FRR and Marik I guess. Can't really do Kurita - hate mercs and personally won't do L.
Not sure how these are going to work. How does this 2.5% loyalty bonus apply and would it work for a merc unit?

Edit: Apparently from reading the faq you can have multiples of the same medallion. Though I think I may still stick for one of each four so if we move around we still get some benefits.

Considering how community warfare is supposed to work, I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket.

I think PGI did away with the idea of decay, or loosing loyalty instead opting to allow you to join houses, switch houses on a whim and never lose status. To be able to join some of the most famous Merc units in lore i.e. the Kell Hounds, you have to have max loyalty rankings with all houses.

So having banners from four different houses wouldn't hurt to have lying around.

I think the 4 should be Steiner, Marik, Kurita and FRR.

According to lore Davion hires the most mercenaries, so there should be frequent jobs from them. It seems a tie between Liao and Steiner for the house with the 2nd most mercenaries in employ, but Steiner is known for utilizing house military for heavy and assault mech defensive engagements, so merc action would be probably be less from them.

Therefore, get medallions for houses that offer fewer merc contracts for the loyalty boosts.
