But my controls are giving me fits. The default controls are stuck on, and I can't clear them. They're overriding my profiling software if they have a conflict, and it's really screwing everything up. For whatever reason, I can't change the commands in the game with my stick like you normally would. Anybody got any way to clear all the default commands in the game out?

Can you select the stick that you are using under the control tab?
Spiff
Nope...it stays selected all the time. I haven't messed with it much, but I haven't had this problem on this computer before. Last time I tried this it worked fine. *shrug*

Aight, got it figured out. For whatever reason, the in game mapper only lets me map to the trigger. I used that to clear everything else out, then set it to fire selected.

Anyone else have this problem? This is the second computer that's done this to me. Bad karma, I guess.

I'm about to reinstall MW myself now that I've got a clean copy of windows running....once I find the damned CDs that is eek13.gif

I have two damned copies in the house and you think I can find one when I want too?

Schwat? Been using stick for 5 years! Just always had to rig it!

What kind of stick is it? On my Saitek, I wiped all the Stock MW joystick commands and program each button on my stick to the keyboard command. This also works for Thrustmaster and Logitec if you use the software from the manufacturer. For instance, my #7 button is logged as the J key for jump jets. Hope this helps.

Aye, that's what I ended up doing. I used my trigger to clear all the commands in-game, then mapped all the keys to the keyboard commands.

It's a Saitek x52. I've had Precision Pro 1s, 2s, Logitech Extreme 3Ds, do this. It's obivously not the sticks, I just don't know what's making it do that.
