I was trying to find the website of my favorite Mech digital graphic artist, Pawel Czarnecki, and when it was down and I couldn't find a replacement site I started digging around further and found what I think has been keeping him so busy. I'm sure you guys probably know all about this already but just in case you don't, go here: http://www.mechwarriormovie.com/ and look around, maybe sign the petition.
Looks like Pawel is doing graphics for this project, and if you are an actor in the Indiana/Chicago area, (uh, Kallie, you may still be too young for the lead, but since you are TB and I am not, I refuse to make any further comments) you might be able to get in on the acting part of the project!
This may amount to nothing, as I have been suckered into news stories several times over the years involving my other passion, Green Lantern possibly being made into a movie (another project that has several scriptes but can't get a studio green light), but wouldn't a mechwarrior movie (with better actors than the opening cinema of Vengeance) be cool? Especially with Pawel in charge of the textures and much of the mech development! and if anyone has any news on this project that wasn't covered in my checking it out, (like maybe they all QUIT and went home and I just didn't get the memo) please let me know.
