Well, it's hands down the best computer I've ever had, it can run BF2 at max graphics without any problems bar when being hit with Arty at the same time I'm seing more than three explosions. Even then it just slows slightly.
Well, for some reason this is no longer true. My computer runs like it should without error untill alluva sudden (if playing a game) things freeze. I can still hear things perfectly but the FPS rate drops to nothing. It'll stay on the one frame for half a minute or so and then come "back".
What I mean by that is, I can start to do stuff again but now it's riduculously slow. This isn't just in games though as I'd hoped. Nope, it does it on the entire computer.
Well I Ctrl Alt Delete and after a few minutes Task manager pops up. Telling it to show me what the heck is using all my CPU it comes back with this.

Well being the dimwit I am, I dunno what that does, where to find it or how to fix it so I right click and close it. It looks like it's been "fixed" (it reads 4% CPU usage) so I try to open a desktop folder. Well it's still crawling along so I pull Task manager back up. What do I see? Not Status client but...

It's been doing this for the better part of a week now, it always starts with Status Client but the second one is almost random. It seems to take RunDLL32 most often but today it took Explorer.
The story is always the same though. The computer is on awhile and even if I do -nothing- it'll bog down on me.
Now that's not to say it doesn't vary on how long before it bogs down. I've not timed it but there's a definite decrease in run time if I play a game. It's probably around four to six hours when I do nothing. Play a game and that falls to anywhere between twenty minutes to two hours. As I said though, these arn't timed results. Just rough outlines from when I'd first look at a clock to when it'd crump on me.
Please, please tell me one of you good people out there knows what this is and how to fix it. I can do a complete wipe if it comes to that but that's obviously a last resort.
