I would like to hear what others think about the light ppc.

6 on a Madcat = hotter'n a sauna full of nubile Swedes but chain fire beast of doom on a cold map.

I love 'em. They're hot, but not quite as hot as ERPPCs or even ISPPCs...and they fit on smaller mounts.

They need longer range.

They're ok. I'd take them over ERLL if I wanted something to go with gauss or bigger ppcs, because the lead times are about the same. However, I'd still boat erll over ltppc any day.

The extra ton to the ERLL is offset by the range and the fact that the LtPPC runs so much cooler that even though you lose your heatsink the advantage actually increases your heat capability (also .5 more damage).

You realize that no one has even as much as blinked at this thread in oh a year or so, right?
