A long time gaming buddy of mine recently stopped over my place to pay me a visit,.....and to tell me he was done with pc games or pc anything...for good. blink.gif He went on to explain that he was tired of hardware/software conflicts, And generally tired of Windows. He does not have the time or patients to learn linux, so he informed me that he was going console. I of course thought that this was all bs, and that he was just having one of his 'stab the pc a few hundred times and it should be fine again moments' Untill of course he reaches into his gym bag he brought along, and pulls out his X45's saying Here! take the d@mn things! I have since set them up and tested them out. for the most part they function like they are supposed to, but given his heavy handedness and anger at times, I already expected somthing to be wrong. moving the stick left is a bit stiff and jerky. It also makes a tiny squeak when doing so. Please tell me this can be fixed with a little silicon grease, and where should i apply it. im almost afraid to take these apart.

Ok, I opened them up, had a look inside and moved some of the existing grease around the dryer parts. so it all works fine now. Not as bad as i thought it would be. Im assuming that no one here has ever taken one of these apart before. wish i had a digital camera so's i can show ya what the insides look like. anyhoo, sorry for the wasted post.

Well i do now. tongue.gif So i'll keep that in mind should it start to feel a bit rough. Thanks.

Rat, do you know where i can get parts/ grease for these, or is it just best to buy another once it goes?
Rat
I just e-mailed customer service ,told them how much I just loved their products and that I really didn't want to give up my X-36. Took alittle while but they sent me the parts I asked for plus a few extras. I did get a better/faster response from the UK customer service than I did from the US customer service.
