I have since set them up and tested them out. for the most part they function like they are supposed to, but given his heavy handedness and anger at times, I already expected somthing to be wrong. moving the stick left is a bit stiff and jerky. It also makes a tiny squeak when doing so. Please tell me this can be fixed with a little silicon grease, and where should i apply it. im almost afraid to take these apart.

Ok, I opened them up, had a look inside and moved some of the existing grease around the dryer parts. so it all works fine now. Not as bad as i thought it would be. Im assuming that no one here has ever taken one of these apart before. wish i had a digital camera so's i can show ya what the insides look like. anyhoo, sorry for the wasted post.

I've never put any grease in mine.....I just shake out the broken parts and replace them!
You know there's a screw on the bottom of the throttle base to adjust tension, right?

I just e-mailed customer service ,told them how much I just loved their products and that I really didn't want to give up my X-36. Took alittle while but they sent me the parts I asked for plus a few extras. I did get a better/faster response from the UK customer service than I did from the US customer service.
