Hello guys,

posting here in desperation because I can't get a few things to work - no content in BK nor Vengeance after installing IF and Clan packs; Second - can't get PR1 to patch my BK.

Both problems may be related (maybe BK PR1 is needed for the packs), but I guess the main problem is that I got not original CDs (bought pirated and some downloaded ISOs and burned myself). Well that was back in the days when these babies were out, I just couldn't get original CDs here (I live in Lithuania), even now I can't get them - need to order them from abroad which will probably smash my CDs on the way here, heh.

I am sorry if it's prohibited to ask help here whenever one has not original CDs, but I really want to play it (got and played MW3 even, when it was out in 1999 I think) and not spend money/time ordering them.

I got Vengeance PR3 to patch my game fine and I just completed Vengeance (not installed any addon packs yet even) and I want to continue with BK now, but I can't patch it (I guess I need original mw4x.exe here). I also can't see any content of the 2 packs (IN + Clan) in both PR3 Vengeance nor non-patched BK. I tried the "InnerSphereSafeCast_Repair.exe" but when it need to run the game I get "Authenticating.." and then am blocked with "Cannot locate the CD-ROM" message and kaput :-( (I actually use mounted images of the 2 packs to install them, maybe the repair thingie can't find the "CD" when it's mounted with D-Tools?)

Also applied "safedisc.exe" fix, and ran some "re-registration" files which had to enable the content as the pirated CDs have some glitch. Well I am left clueless here now.

I tried to seach the forum too but to no avail.

I don't want to sound vulgar, but may some of you good-hearted upload me the original mw4x.exe from the CD? Or actually anything that might help me.

On the other hand, is the PR1 BK patch adds/fixes some serious things? I am just an updating maniac so I can't sleep tight until I got the latest versions of everything. :-)

Oh and really sorry, but another question:

Do the IS and Clan packs affect Singleplayer in any way (BK and Vengeace ones)? I mean do pack mechs appear in them then? Maybe weapons? Or is it strictly multiplayer things?

And, (I really don't remember after 3 years of not playing it) does MW4: Merceneries include all the mechs from BK and Vengeance? I remember there were no pack mechs in Mercs. ALSO, can you add the packs(8 mechs) to Merceneries so to have all all all Mechwarrior 4 mechs at once?
