I couldn't find your email address, and I know you'll stop by here. I always send a pic before I ship out a commission, so here ya go. I give to you- Deacon, Mighty Pheasant Fetcher!

Here's a little detail

Wow Fury, I grew up with a Lab and that's an awesome painting. I really do miss that dog.

There, now it's MY dog, Jake, Chaser Of Anything Vaguely Spheroid. wink.gif

rofl.gif rofl.gif We had to keep our Lab out of the water when we were duck hunting because he would end up with a collection of turtles in no time.

Beautiful work, Fury. Just.....beautiful. smile.gif

This may sound silly.....but it's him. I can see my doofus Black Lab there. Plus, it's got all the elements that make your art so great. I don't know what you call it, but I think of it as a kind of neo-primitivism. In other words, artwork with a primitive bent. Like modernized cave paintings, maybe.

In any case, if you can't tell, I love it! Sweet work, m'lady. Simply lovely.

Well, I'll add this to the list of stuff I can't do.

Good job, Fury. Looks pretty damned realistic.

I keep coming back and looking at this, Fury. I can hardly wait until I get it. smile.gif

With that, you have a couple of options. Instant gratification, I can ship it off in a mailing tube tomorrow or Wed. Or, you could give me a week and let me mount and mat it. That option will require a little extra shipping fees- but could save a *bundle* when it comes to getting it framed (we have more matting at work than we know what to do with. I can make it look *good*, man).

I leave it up to you- the size of the paper is 18x13 3/4, so it's pretty big. Having me do the matting for it will make it considerably larger- not necessarily bad, but not exactly the best for shipping purposes.

EDIT: Or...... You could let me *really* save you a buttload (about $300) and let me frame it. Cost of materials and shipping. I have a specific way I like to do my watercolors (I prefer to show off the handmade paper), and in this instance, this piece will fit nicely into a 16x20. Again, it's something I can do on my off time, so give me about a week, and it's done. This also has the benefit of me knowing you won't be sticking it to the wall with thumbtacks tongue.gif Drawbacks definitely exist, but in the long run it'll save ya a lot.

A little late(my compliment) a very nicely done painting. smile.gif

I'll probably get back to you in a few days on the different options you gave me, Fury. Sorry, but I'm having some RL issues right now.
