I don't see too much of the newer "Anti jump sniper" weapons being used in the open servers, like the Long Tom and AGL Smoke. Are these being used extensively in league play? Seems like everyone still prefers the classic direct fire weapons.

Haven't seen much smoke, but Long Toms pop up every now and then, usually on a medium mech that can rack up points with the scoring modifiers. (Long Tom isn't new though.)

Smoke is banned in at least one MWL league I can think of...so that might be why people don't use it

I've seen some smoke used on Ronin. Primarily for screens so mediums wouldn't get picked off by larger chasiss on their attack runs.
