To Rat, Bec, Ivy, Xiomburg, Titus, No Guts, and anyone else who lit me up like the Battle of Tukkyaid last night....

I appreciate greatly all your suggestions and kind words. Far better is it to receive consideration for one noobishness,
than get kicked from a game for not being 'l33t' enough for them! (a big fault w/ Xbox Live, ya know.)

I'd have to say that half my issues last night were simply caused by not being familiar with the maps and their terrain, and the other half by not being familar enough with the driving and the mech systems controls. With time, that can only improve! POW.gif nutkick.gif poptart.gif

Had a great time last night Trashguy. Maps are hard to learn, that just takes time. Some I'm still not sure of. Drop by the Banzai Mech Lab and download some of the mechs there. I'm sure you'll find plenty of pain givers there ph34r.gif

Hope to see you on the server more.

Eventually you'll get familiar with hiding the legs from Sliverthorn, going for Sandy's legs, team killing Gnosis, etc. etc. etc. rolleyes.gif
Ivy
Glad to hear you had a good time biggrin2.gif Bec and I had a blast as well smile.gif

And yes, everything comes in time. Die enough times and you learn how to stay alive longer between deaths rofl.gif

The other best suggestion that I have, is become a tag-along. Follow a certain member of your team, and shoot at whatever they shoot at. Mimic where they go and what they do. Watch what they do and try and learn from it. Preferably the person you are following should know what they are doing wink.gif . lol

Xiomburg
It was fun...but I have four words you can live by...

TURN OFF YOUR RADAR

When you are jump sniping behind walls I can still see you with mine.

Indeedy...worked fairly well in tonight's festivities!

Concourse w/Jack of Clubs Thor: Some pilot was poptarting a wall near the spaceport--switched off the radar, got in close, lit up and went around the corner...he got me the first time, but I saw him doing it again, and scrapped him good.

And, targeting certain points is coming along--managed to wreck a MC MKII's missile pods a couple of times, but those gauss rifles... SG_Spank.gif

We're often found on Banzai Institute - Ronin, which can be located on Zonematch, or by IP at 68.116.34.55. It runs a standard 30 minute Team Battle map cycle and is usually set to host up to 18 players.
