When I was playing Veng, I seem to remember a guide that recommended that you set your connection speed to 56k no matter what kind of service you were on. Does this hold true with Mercs? I've played around with different settings and haven't really noticed a difference. btw I have DSL, is there a setting I should have it on?

Leave it at 56k. This is supposed to cause less stress on the server by reducing the number of packets requested. Dunno if it is all that true.
