I've run a stalker for some time, Im just interested in seeing what other configs and ideas are out there.

My main ride;

2xERPPC
2xLRM15
Stock speed, sinks etc to taste.
For some reason the config annoys jumpsnipers and brawlers alike and I cant understand why.....

The Stalker.

You'd think a mech with a name like that could be used to sneak up on someone, but noooooo.

Name: 2CPPC-HVAC20
2 Cap PPCs
1 HVAC 20

ECM/LAMS, 9HS and almsot full armor. The HVAC recycles fairly quickly, and you can keep them rocking and sputtering with the PPCs while you set up the precision HVAC shots. DON'T group the PPCs, unless you like naptime. I use this config sometimes. Built it to test new weapons, and kinda liked it.

1 HGauss

ECM/LAMS 5 HS, tweaked armor. Classic Missle support boat, but no BAP, so you have to be patient. Abuse'em with missles, then poke big holes in them with the HG if they get too close.

That's all I've got. This beast is SLOW, so i rarely take it out. Sort of like a Vulture on steroids.

It'll make .5 past light speed!!

i love the stalker. it may be slow but for 85 tons its the w1n

Set the LRMs to chain, and if someone makes the mistake of getting close, flame their butt.

YOu can't mount (S)MRM40s on a Stalker. It's missile hardpoints ain't big enough.

Guess he means the 30iers. They´re 2Mslots.

heatsinks... lots and lots of heatsinks...

its a fun lil guy, the ATMs do great damage and knock most people flat, while the 2 CPPCs are great backup weapons

I'd llike to see yer armor and sinks on this one, thats 52 tons of weapons on a 85'er. I'd give it try but that silly little thing oh yea "work" must get in the way. Thanks regardless.
