I know with the new image size limit It's hard to let others preview our sigs.
But how do you compress you graphics, I can't afford renting out webspace. For a few graphics that I make and or need but I don't have that much money, And I don't wanna use someone else's unless their charging me a fee becuase if not it feels like stealing.
But anywho if you go to low of quality with JPEG it's horrible and barley readable. But GIF formats don't let effects show through aswell as you'd like so how do you compress enough to make it look good and keep it the way it's supposed to look? Just puzzeling.

some programs do a better job at compression than others. If you need something hosted, email it to me, I'll get it up as soon as I see it.

Thanks CC, and I'm using Photoshop 7 and are you sure about that webspace thing? I wouldn't feel right using something you pay for.....

have nearly a gb of online space, and I'm nowhere close to using it or it's bandwidth. So, yup, I'm sure.

Well...with Photoshop 4 you can save a JPEG at different levels of quality. I think mine is set at...ahm...seven. It's pretty good filesize-wise, so setting your JPEG level to 7 when you save the file should do the trick.
