Well, I seem to be running into a stand still with my photo editor (MS Picture it) and I can't seem to save the map files in the proper format, eg...24 bit, 32 bit, for the map creator. I can save the files in TGA format, but so far can't find anyway to change the bit settings. I also can't find anything in my program about alpha chanels. I've read through a few of the online guides and noticed Photo shop seems to be one of the programs of choice to do these things. If anyone knows of a freeware progam that could save the files in the right bits, or if thers a way to do it with my existing program. On a little different subject, the maps I have made arn't much to look at but it's been alot of fun making them and playing on them.

I use a commercial editor that does lots of cool things but it's the demo version (30 day expire) and I really can't say more than that. rolleyes.gif
