what would u do with exactly 30 tons of available tonnage?
imagine u are making a config for an IS mech.u got enough armor, and enough speed. and u still have EXACTLY 30 tons left.-what equipment(puretech IS) would u use? u got 4 slots (LA,RA,LT,RT no matter wich size the slots have).im thinking of either mixed range or mixed weaponry. what would u use?
please , share your ideas
greatings,

Dragon has about 30 tons available with ECM and speed set at 91kph, so I have a bit of experience here, and though not all my configs are puretech, I'll limit myself to those that are. I'm guessing you are outfitting a Dragon, Thanny, BK, or Avatar.
Brawler - LBX20, LBX10, 3 medium lasers
Mid-range - Heavy Gauss (*2 ammo), 2ISLL (or 1ISLL and 1LXPL), 1 sink or IFF
Strafe-runner - 2RAC2 (*2 ammo each), 2LXPL (or 1ISLL and 1LXPL), 2 sinks
Mid/Long range - Gauss rifle, LXPL, RAC2(*2 ammo)
Long range - 2ISPPC, Gauss rifle
Bombardier - 2 Arrow Thunderbolts (*2 ammo each)
Mix - 2ISLL, Light Gauss, ISPPC
These are obviously just a few suggestions out of the many possibilities, 30 tons really gives you a lot of options depending on what role you want to play.

Hmm, 30 tons. It's hard to imagine without a chassis...
LRM20
PPC
2x LAC5
Light Gauss
2x PPC
RL +1 ton
Gauss +1 ton
MRM20
ISRM +1 ton
2x Medium Lasers
All these are suitable for a 3 button grouping.

2 LBX20

Or 2 cLBX20, and a LXPL (add a heat sink)

Or 2 cLBX20, and a couple medium X-pls (rest to HS, just to make sure you don't overheat from extended laser use).

My Wyvern config - PT version :
2 Light Gauss
2 IS Flamers
1 Inferno SRM
Fits fine in the Loki (with Clan Flamers, opentech) or Warhammer, though I usually have 2 Inferno's instead of one.
