All in the title. I still like to fire up the old games and keep them around since I have 160gb of disk to waste.
After installing Mercs, I pop in either pak CD and it wants the Veng install. For kicks I renamed the Veng install, this time it complained that I didn't have any MW4 product installed. Argh!!!

Thanks! It worked though I had to do the safecast stuff as well.
Well, for anyone curious, my final effort was rather thorough, I did the following.
- Uninstalled Mercenaries, IS/Clan Packs, BlackKnight, Vengeance
- Deleted the remenants of their directories
- Ran three seperate searches on the registry for keys with the names "Mercenaries", "BlackKnight", "Vengeance" and deleted them
- Rebooted to clear memory resident registry (stupid M$ kernal needs to be recoded to be dynamic)
- Reloaded Mercs, IS/Clan Packs, PR-1, SafeDisk for both packs, MekTek pack, map-o-rama x57
- Reboot and play

OK, so that wasn't exactly easy. I think the only change to the pack release that could have been considered is just including a PR-1, no Hud-Patcher copy of a number of files that the HP touches. I don't know the percentage of people that had the HP but it didn't seem like an insignificant #. Or there could have been an addiional download for the HP users to assist in cleaning up pre Pak install. Maybe a poll could be taken and the results of that sent to MT to give them a hand in future paks?
In any case, the artwork is very nice and mech movements are done particularly well. I turned my graphics back to high to get a looksee and really liked what I saw. Am also pleased to see that "Blue Line" camo was still there.
The BloodAsp had some issues with damage taking from a 4x CUAC10 opponent but we'll all have to see how things shake out. The Urbie, I really liked and it's just as easy to die in one in MW4 as it was in MW2.

Installed and working. Now if I can get home in a decent hour to play. I was up till 3am helping someone *cough* Sliv *cough* get rid of multiple viruses while doing this install. Can't believe Catz showed up at 2am to fight with us.
