I have uninstalled my whole mercs game and after that i have reinstalled it.
Than i have applied the PR1 and copied the mechpak and the switcher in my mercs directory. When i doubleklick now at the switcher and try to install it, i get some error messages, like:
"invalid CRC: MW4Mercs.icd.bak cant be updated" or "cant find backupfiles"
(does i have to create backupfiles ?? and if yes, where and under wich name does i have to save it ?!?!??!
)When i try to install the mechpak without the switcher, i have success and all its good, but i cant "switch back to the old version" without that thing.
Btw, i have uninstalled all other mercs stuff (means the hudpatch and maps) too.
(Maybe my prob is, that i'm a german --> so i have the german version from mercs, but i have downloaded of course the german mechpak too.......does i need maybe a german switcher ?!? --> i have read, that a german switcher is in progress......maybe thats the solution ???????????
