my friend is haveing probs...when she goes into multiplayer on mercs she cant see any servers and it says she isnt conected 2 the zone...i have no idea what the prob is...she says they have a router and i have a feeling that is the prob...she has an AMD 2 gig prosseser....512mb ram....radeon 7000 64mb.....XP home....and a router *shudders*....she says its a d-link...plz help

Anyway, you could redirect her to the mw help centre where problems of this sort have been sometimes solved.
Maybe you/she could post with more info there? (Type/model of router and connection etc.)

does she have it set right in "connection type" window......you know ..where it says your name ....connection type and....somethin else (cant think of it at this momment)where you click on the CONNECT bar through multiplayer in the game?........i ask because my 4 yr old changed that with out my knowledge and i got the same result.....couldnt see servers and it said i wasnt connected
