sorry mate just dont see it working, if some one can be jumping firing er large and hit my ct. the arm just got to be as easy. plus not as much armour on that arm as well compained to the ct

I think he was referring to the coolness of the variant due to the new 3 Slot arm, not necessarily it's "uber"-ness.

A new one that I think is also driving people nuts, Huptman with 8 longtom tracers, a long tom, some med/small lasers. Set the tracers to chain, aim in their general direction and fire, throw an actual long tom in there every once in awhile.

Very entertaining. Fantastic light shows and almost as much fun as using flares.

Now for the real question, anyone have suggestions on how to acurately aim these things? Does full elevation give you hits at 1200 meters or 1000 meters? How much distance change for each tick on the elevation scale in the hud?

And do the tracers provide any knock to the mechs under them? I know there is no damage.

Hard to figure this out with out someone reporting what is happening on the receiving end.

ive been usin a longtom victor for quite some time now.......and i can snapshot out to 600m while runnin and jumpin..........all i can say is practice ....practice.....practice
because the geometry changes for evry mech.....IE....how tall your mech is changes asmuth and range for given arc.......i just takes alot of practice to judge how much to lead or not to lead your opponent...( oh...snapshot means i can sooht it with out wonderrin where it will land...lol....sry)........and ive found the new HEAP to be awsome....due to increased fire rate.......you can really put some rounds downrange with those......at full arc you can get 5 salvos in the air before the 1st round hit!!!

just pic a mech.....like a victor or templer.....nad practice your arse off in single player.....and if ya practice usin small mechs.......it makes it easier on the big ones.......cause its like theyre movin in slow motion!!

i had good sucsess last night with a hvy lsr 2 med lsr and some streaks.. a lil on the hot side but was really taking the armor off a certain kodiak last night
