yeah it would be, try scaling the missiles down to CLRM15's with +1 ammo and 2 extra heat sinks. maybe even get rid of the 3rd erll and but in some closer range stuff for the pesky lights, keeps your heat down. or even replacing the erll (all of them) for 2 ppcs (erppc is my idea).

well, the ATM12-M have 2x the power of an LRM15, with only 1.5 extra tons...i think it's a pretty good deal if you have a mixed ranged chassis/variant. i think the ATM6-M have half again the damage of a LRM10 for 1 extra ton, not sure. but with the same reload time and number of shots (for the 10 and 15, 6 and 12 respectively) they are a good deal IMO.

KG , thanks for the feedback on the ATM's looks like my HH configs will be packing missiles soon -- then we'll see who has the meanest HH missile config..NG or me - ha!

Am already starting to get push back for driving small heat guns that shutdown the larger mechs. Expect there to be a major explosion over this tactict soon. It may be worse than the trash talk people do about the poptarts.

Revised Panther :
Replaced the RL and the LAC5 with 2 SSRM4 and 2 Light Clan MG's. NG, I'm beginning to like the Ares too ...a lot of the Hellhound configs fit and play on it just fine

Going to see what missile configs I can pack into either.

That 4 LAC5 combined with 2 PPC's of either kind on a Black Knight rocks btw. Before you get to fire the third volley of PPC's the target should be blinking red.
