Erm....well, as I've said before, the style messes up the Dragon's features a little too much and the name is a little tall. But pretty good other than that.

Fury, that is one of the BEST sigs I have ever seen. Very nice composition and use of colors.

Yeah, the alternating background colors are the one thing I hate about this style of forum. I wish we could have all of this on a solid black background like they use on the MWL forums, for example. Images look so much crisper on that flat background, it always amazes me when I see someone I've made a sig for post over there and it's like "Whoa! That looks great!"

Unfortunately, I've never been able to find a solid black background theme for this style of forum - and don't think I haven't looked.

Oh, and as far as the sig is concerned? Sandy's an idiot. Best work you've ever done.

Personally I see no constructive criticism there at all. The style messes up the dragons features? You wanna see how many zits it has? And what style would be better?

The name is a little tall? The sig is as requested, basically a name with added extras that can be used on any Forums not just MW ones.

Don't mean to get on my high horse here Sandy but I agree with Card, this to me is one of Fury's best, if not THE best sig she has done, It appears and slaps you round the face and will not be ignored which is what a good sig should do in my opinion.

Simple, clean sig. Sw33t.

And I am talking about the tool that is CALLED a style, not an actual way of doing things.

You can call me an idiot if you want, but art is subjective and is NOT viewed by everyone in the same way. I COULD shower her with praise saying it's the best thing she has ever done, but not only would that not be 'Constructive Critisism', but I wouldn't be telling the truth. It's NOT the best she's ever done. Still pretty good, but could use some improvements.

So yeah, next time I'll think twice about being honest.

While Sandy and I will both agree that we have somewhat wildly differing tastes at times, I do respect the hell out of his abilities with Photoshop. The beautiful thing about a critique is that I can say "I respect your opinion, but I like it just like it is." This goes pretty well with what Sandy suggested. Yes, I see what he means about the style (which would be the gold effect on the dragon, btw), but I'm happy with it as is. As for the name being the size and height it is, well that was intentional on my part, but I understand that it may not be what everyone likes. *shrug*

Of course, Sandy did make some suggestions via messenger that I did try... this prompted the change of the lower text to red (he recommended white, but I wasn't thrilled with how that looked). In the end, Dai preferred the black with the red glow. And considering it was his sig, what Dai wants, Dai gets.


Sandy... your honest opinion is appreciated. Maybe not agreed with, as I'm sure you wouldn't agree to suggestions I make about your work. But it is appreciated. I could say something about diplomatic approach, but then 'Card could point out that I'm not that big on diplomacy in my critiques either.

You're half right, Sandy. 'Card is no fool, but he does have that arrogant thing nailed down tight as a coffin lid. Which, of course, is why I take such great pleasure in telling him his work sucks.


I, uh...., do not recommend you try this. It takes a highly skilled professional to deal with an ego of that magnitude. And breastesses. To be honest, I really think it's the breastesses that lets me get away with it.

Hmmmmm....... the image was just a flat black Google find, so there was very little detail in there to begin with. However, I am diggin' the idea. Not for this sig mind you, but I want to try that effect out on some other images I have.

Not so much a critique as just a couple of questions.

The dragon and sword are my focus.

Did you have other metal effect dragons? Did you have other swords?
Did you try it with a straight blade ninja, or how about a complete 3 sword set having the Dragon holding them like a display stand?
I like the process of making the sigs.

Once again I like the sig.
