As I am now a member of this fine team. I need to get a new sig that shows it. Could one of you graphics guru's find time to do this? The Thor is my fav mech with the Victor next. And the CUACS my fav weapon. Any chance to give it a medieval flair would be nice as well. As many pics of me in my leather armor with my battle axe on my back shows I was born in the wrong century.

Like Cpt said that is cool. The Thor looks great. By chance you got one firing uacs? I really like the look of all the empty brass falling. Ideas started running through my head for a different background, thing is it would end up being a 2 gig pic when it was done I would like a castle flying a TB banner and maybe some armored knights charging the Thor. Kind of like ... sometimes the dragon wins type of thing. I can attach some knight graphics and maybe a castle or 2 if needed.

I was once crowned Mr. Medieval at a renaissance faire a few years ago. Like I said I really love this time in history.

I'm a SCAdian myself, so it's nice to see others out there with similar interests

Only Ren faires now. I fought in the SCA when I was in Germany, even earned my spurs there. Now I'm getting a bit to old to fight, not as fast with my axe and I don't heal as fast as I use to. I have trained a few in the art of the axe and 2 have earned their spurs.

We did SCAdian stuff when I lived in Montana. It was a fun diversion while I was active duty, but I ran out of time for it when I went back to school, had two kids, got divorced...etc, etc. I loved the armor building more than the fighting, though I did a few tourneys and melees, and used to fight Florentine a lot.

We used to have a saying, "It's fun to visit the dream castle, but not so good to move IN and never come back." I met a lot of folk who hadn't been outside those walls for a long, long time.

Anyway, I still do the Ren faire every year. I was a Madrigal Groupie for a while...

I have a really great program that will translate english into Quenya or Sindarin elvish- comes with several tengwar fonts. It's really cool- called the Tengwar Scribe. Once I get my phrase translated, I just copy and paste the text into photoshop and go from there. The phrase in my sig is "alphastrike play games with friends"

I am on Win2k and the Tengwar Scribe doesn't work for me. I use YaTT. Y.a.T.T.

I used a screen cap like the MK2 on this page Just Stuff I used a sharpen filter, then I used a real light aged newspaper filter. then I tried to adjust the over brightness to match the background without fading into it too much.
