I almost always play in cockpit mode but when ever i am not on flat ground my hud sometimes shakes very wildly when im moving over a not so flat area (the smallest unevenness can trigger it) ,more then i remember it used to be,any sugestions?

During Solaris Saturday, hopefully your cockpit was shaking because I was trying desperately to kill you. (something I didn't accomplish much, btw)

Other than that? Have you checked to see if you have the latest version of your joystick's drivers?

I had this happen once when I was using a vid card with 16MB of memory.

Do you have torso twist on Abbo? Or maybe you've got the deadzone set too small. Just tossing out ideas.

Stick drivers should be ok ,ms sidewinder FF 2 here and they never released any updates exept for some specific problems.
Btw this is most vissible in my wolfhound 3 ll sniper in zoom
hmm havnt installed the cd's that came with it,xp installed the drivers the moment i plugged the stick in ,funny result i:s i cant configure my stick the way i could with the cd install (like deadzones), kind of dissapointed with MS and XP there

At the MS site, there is a stick config thing. Leaves a icon in your tray so you can do the adjusts when you want to. I do not have my FF2 anymore, but look around, and you should find it. The 3.02 version is what i think is it.

I think I've had that problem before. How old is your joystick? Is it getting close to wearing out? Mine used to do that if I let it fall to the right where it no longer has any resistance.

Actually i had 3 sidewider ff2's until last week, one fried out
but not on the system i've got troubles with i really think it's got something to do with my graphic card geoforce 4 mx 128

Could it be that you're nervous not knowing what's on the other side of the hill? Do you shake when you get nervous?

Actually im fighting enemies and my hud (in zoom) ever since i got my new system.(5-6 months)

I have a sidewinder 2 and that happens to me once in awhile, I usually atribute it to my age. But it is alwasy wehn I zoom so I am wondering if it is more of a game-lag type of thing. Whats happens is that I have one button set as the jumpt jets but it will not work well if I am on rough terrain and sometimes it starts and stops even though there is plenty more juice in the jets.
