This is my 2nd real sig Proba;y my best, im proud, but anyone know where to get good backgrounds?

Sometimes PS says the fonts not there, But it is how do I fix that?

Hey, both of those are cool. You should change your sig to that one.

I like your BK pic. Keep in mind that I am not a graphics guru, but there are a couple of things I noticed:
1) the BI seal looks a little squashed and the left side is partially cut off
2) it looks like the bottom title says "YeamBanzai" instaead of "Team Banzai" (Y instead of T and missing space between words)
3) the photo-like quality of the 'Mech pics looks awesome, but the shiny black armor makes it very difficult to pick out any details. I'm only guessing that the right 'Mech is a Black Knight...

you can tell its a black knight, but I guess thats because I remember the cover for the BK box

BK how many fonts do you have installed? After a certain number (I forget the number) windows starts losing them. It's very annoying I use FXexplorer for font management to install/de-install as I need. and keep around 120 active at a time.

CC. I have around 680 installed...I dont have anywhere else to put them. I have noticed a change in windows speed, If you dont mind me asking, How come?

Cause Winbloze puts in pointers and partial loads of all fonts into resident memory. That way Winbloze does not have to load each font as the user skips through them looking for ones to play with in something like Microcrap Word.

you don't have to have em all "installed" you can have the 680 fonts in a directory other than windows/fonts and load the ones you need. Also as more fonts are loaded, the slower the system goes.

Highly Highly recommend font management software. Makes it really easy to add and remove fonts as you need.

MS can't handle that much font data. Not sure if it's poor programming or just overload. Can a mac have 700 or so fonts resident?

What i noticed:

The Writing is difficult to read , try and outline or a dark drop shadow set at 0.0 should bring it out a bit. Also the maurader seem very out of place. The graphics are intense with the BK (good job) and the other looks too muddy, it also has an arm cut off in the middle of the image which takes away from the BK (Id remove it all together)

just my opinions

Just an idea on backgrounds.... pick something that you think woould be cool and google it, then just look at the images...

BTW pretty sweet, and the BK in that looks awesome!

Is the text on a seperate layer BK?

If so, you could try running some filters on it to see what kind of effects you can get

Just try experimenting a bit, and if you have any specific questions about any of the tools or other aspects of the software, ask us. There's plenty of people here who use PSP and Photoshop.

Good stuff...

"Black Knight" is still hard to read - Try a white shadow or stroke. You may want to drop the banzai seal since 90% of it is hidden by the Templar (or move it so more of it can be seen.

This is only a presonal preference but i would drop the Templar, the Black Knight says it all to me. One of the best detailed scans of the box art I have seen. Sometimes less is more.
