I went a found a cool image, sized, cropped and basically fiddled with it till it seemed SWEET! Then I went to upload it and it wouldn't let me any help out there guys?

What's the message? Generally, it is either the picture is too big [physically], or it is too large [space wise].

This is the error message:

"The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem"

someone forgot to chmod the upload dir I belive

To try and tranlate DD's gibberish:

"That feature probably hasn't been re-activated yet. Please be patient."

There's a cheaty way to get the avatar:
Post the image as an attachment, right click on the visual, select properties, and copy its url into the other Avatar catagory. Worked for me
