Doing singel player over again, especially the solaris maps because i keep running out of money... anyway, stuck at the part where mediums and lights are the only circuits i can pilot, and Uziel being only mech i have plenty of, i keep swapping between 3 diffrent variantrs and playing around with em. anyway, heres 3 i think i like:

oh yeah ...the good old uziel. i love that mashine. its my all time favorite. fast ,agil and is has a nice punch for a 50 tonner:

i mostly play the stock config with minor rearanging of the amor. i striped down the rear amor to 0.3 and the head amor down to 0.2 and increased the leg amor to 1.1 ton each.
i love it!

i dont use the uziel for brawling - the hunchback is better for that.althought the 2rac,4med,1srm6 version has a good brawling potential against other mediums. on med - or longrange - the uziel will be my ride of choice.

I really enjoy playing multi-range mech... very versatile.

And i think that the 2ERPPC + LGauss Uziel didn't make the list is because most of the players could make the hardest hitting mech at any specific range (boating mentality).

although i still think that C/STRK MRM30+1ton ammo, 2IS large 2ER meds is nice

Ah yes...Bardiel is fast becoming one of my fav mechs. So incredibly l337 that I probably should keep it a secret....!

New favorite uzi varient.... 4 cuac2s + clrm15 = lots o' fun on long range maps like manorhouse

hmm...surprised no one has posted my favorite uziel:

101 kph, 2 cuac10's +1 ammo on each, 7.5 tons FF.

Simple and hard hitting, with good range for a brawler. Only problem is, unlike most mediums, it doesn't do so well against lights.

Switch: I have that. It's just that I find it frustrating to use, as some git always manages to blow BOTH guns off the mech before I run outta ammo.

Heh i found a favorite chassis the uzi : 2 uac10 2 hml is my current common loadout.

my favorite brawler is similar

2 lbx10, 2Hml, 2ml, 0HS, 95kph, rest in armor i think it full specialty armor except in leg and head. it can get hot, so just lay off the lasers a turn or two, or chain fire them.

also, 2 large pulse is fun

i tried 2 HLL, but too hot for the firepower you need, thinking about building an uziel with a loadout like a stock ares and seeing how it works. (nte to self: must get back home and work on this)

I even wrote an Uzi guide. d= My first one, I think. Or was the Argus first? Dunno. Can't remember. Reminisce. Ruminate. Etc.

It's pure tech and you can really snag someone in that myopic region between brawlers and snipers. Just remember, you don't have the range for potshots and you don't have the alpha to brawl. Think of it as a challenge. It's actually kinda fun making this work.

Well,

switch out the ERPPC with IS PPCs remove the jets and you got yourself a med that hits like a heavy and has very managable heat

But...... but that's PURE TECH! My eyes they burn!!!
