If you see a newley respawned Fafnir walking towards the enemy spawn. They make a really nice shield

Hell, I'll use an enemy faf as a shield.. *hears the beep of missles inbound and ducks behind the faf he's attacking* weee! Thanks for absorbing all those missles for me!

LOL, I'll duck behind a friendly Fafnir to avoid being shot too.

Why would they be so big and heavily armored? If not to absorb shots for us little guys

If you are in a Cougar, Osiris, or Chimera, and have flight capability, the Fafnir's head is the only permitted landing point. Be sure your tray table and seat are in the upright position, because we're expecting turbulence
(Fafnirs are such an easy target)

Xiom's was a Fafnir with Flea Launchers in place of the torso guns. It shot fleas out

Actually, I think those are Flea parts stuck to the front of the Fatty. Sorta like bugs tend to cluster up on your windscreen/shield after driving through a swamp.

I, too, have been know to pilot a Faffy on occasion. Filled it full of Large Gauss and missles. Once DFA'd a Kodiak with one as I stepped off of the beams on the Factory map. Boy was HE surprised.

So tell, em to back off, Ichady. But try some lighter mechs, too. They are a blast to drive.

The Fafnir does not support missles. None. Only Ballistics and Beams

Sorry...haven't actually been able to PLAY MW4 in about a month. Memory of mechs I rarely use is getting foggy...

But the DFA'ing with the Fafnir. THAT was memorable.

Fafnirs have no JJs. You can only (and easily, I might add) DFA them, not with them.
