Be interesting to see how it develops, tho. Liked the gallery link, too.

Very nice - it is unmistakably an Eldar ship.
Are you going to add in a background when you're done?

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40242668/I'm done. Atleast for tonight. Although apparently, I need a better background.

I finally got my hands on a WACOM- have you gotten yours onto a copy of the new photoshop?
(My wacom-ability now insists that you provide blow by blows on what you're doing, btw. I must know!)

Funny you should ask...I recently..ah,
reacquired the newest copy. Have yet to actually install it though.
Oh, here's something I did yesterday.

Nice work- need to make a small critique if'n you don't mind. Sword is really weak in comparison to everything else. Falls way flat- like you really just wanted that piece to be done, and you rushed that little bit. Add some highlight and shadow play on that thing, you!

I am ever so glad you didn't say what this other guy said. That my background was "a little bland".
I could have killed him. Really.
Which Wacom didja get anyway? And have you ever tried Painter? I've got version 9, but haven't actually gotten it to work yet...

Intuos3 9x12. Sadly, the Cintiq still remains outta my price range. I would love to give it a go on one of the Cintiqs, since I still find it simply a bear to try and draw directly into photoshop on the Intuos. That mostly has to do with the way I draw (I tend to hunker right down over a drawing in a manner that would give most optometrist a grand mal seizure). I've been practicing as much as I can by scanning a drawing in and just drawing over it to see what I can get. It's working, but it's taking time. I'll be sure to post up something soon.
As for Painter? See if you can [quotation fingers]acquire[/quotation fingers] a copy of Painter X. They've redone the way *all* of the brushes work, and it's amazing. Mind you, I still haven't produced anything but the odd doodle in it yet, but it's pretty impressive.
