[ If/when I get a joystick, I'll let you know--it'd be a lot of fun to play with you again sometime.

*waves at TBolt* Not much going on... you? And yep, I know about CMO's site.

I figured you would but like a good soldier I pass on good intelligence when I get the chance.

BTW if you're really looking for a decent and cheap joystick Saitek has a 20.00 basic flight stick with handle twist, throttle and 6 buttons. It's not like Rat's big expensive one or anything but it has worked well for me lo these many months since my Logitech extrme 3d pro bit the dust.
Things are good here bro. Hope school is going okay or did you graduate?
EDIT: that Saitek stick is available at Walmart.

School's going pretty well... I'm still playing the major game but I think I may settle down on this one; it just sounds interesting and not too narrow in focus:
http://www.sesp.northwestern.edu/ugrad/conc/loc/curriculum/. Along with International Studies (
http://www.intstudy.northwestern.edu/), which will include Chinese (I'm still studying it and plan on sticking it out at least through this next year).

I had been toying with the idea of picking up Arabic, too, but I decided that it'd be more worth my time now to pick up things other than languages (which won't disappear by the time I graduate, hopefully).
Also, I'd accept the offer of the stick, Wadde, but I think it'd be a bit pricey to ship it all the way from Germany. Anyway, it's only two weeks until I get my next paycheck, and I may order one then or a little bit later--my laptop has developed a bit of an overheating problem and I want to get a cooling pad and see how much that helps before buying a stick. There's not much point in me buying a stick if I can't play.

It seems to do all right on the cooler days, but above 70 or 75 degrees my computer turns itself off when I try to play games. (And no a/c! *tear* oh well

)
ps. nice sig.
