Gen James Mattis is slated to take over CentCom (Gen Petraeus' old job) and is known for being direct, thoughtful and connecting with his troops. Another great (albeit repurposed) quote is, "Fight with a happy heart and strong spirit. Demonstrate to the world there is no better friend, and no worse enemy, than a U.S. Marine." War is never the first choice. But when the bullets start flying, this is the kind of guy you want commanding Marines. -------------------- Let's face it.
